Sorry to hear Jon passed. A rather special human being. Was just thinking of him, and the expression "Light hearted and yet a man of great honor. But without the oft accompanying stick up his bum that some with "honor " seem to carry came to mind I loved Jon. He was a fun poker buddy. A sweet friend and caring physician of great integrity . Blessings and light to you my friend on your journey forward Thanks for being in my life. You will be missed

Jon and I were thrown together by virtue of the alphbetical assignment of lab partners etc, ay MCV. It was one of many lucky circumstances for me at school. We became friends, and spent time together at the cottage he rented near the river. All my memories of Jon are positive, and losing track of one another after graduation was a loss, at least to me.

He always made time for me, even as a teen, to listen deeply and completely, sometimes holding me when I cried, staring me in the eye when he knew I knew I was wrong, and always reminding me what I was capable of regardless of what life...

Dr. Lowe was one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He cared for his patients with all of his heart, and was without a doubt the best listener. You could walk into a full waiting room, and he would care/treat you as if he had all the time in the world for you. Rest in peace, Dr. Lowe - you will be so greatly missed.
