6th grade class President at Whitman elementary. My best friend in grade school. I can still see him pumping gas and washing car windows while we road our bikes by taunting him for working at his parents gas station. He'd just smile at us. Just a tremendous man, glad we reconnected later in life. We will reunite again. Love to his family and all of us that will miss thar contagious laugh and smile.

That was beautifully written and gave me a much broader sense of his life. I always loved to see what Jon was reading, but I could not keep up as it was usually a book every other day. HAHA. Remember all those great memories you had with him and let those overshadowed his early departure from ours lives. Loves.

Met Jon a few years ago at midway pickleball courts and always looked forward to our play. I am so sorry for the loss of Jon and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
