Dr. Robert Proffitt and family; I was sorry to learn of your father's death. He was our first and only Ophthalmologist in Grand Island and we always had a deep respect and appreciation of him. Your parents were very fine people. Sincerely,

Dear Dick & Family:
I was so very sorry to hear of your beloved Father's passing. I remember your great love of him in High School and your concern for his health @ that time.
Dr. Proffitt was a wonderful Dr. for our family, ( the Zlomke's), when we were growing up and he will be greatly missed.
God be with you and your family @ this time.

Our hearts and prayers go out to you. Your dad was one of the most remarkable men I ever known. He was so full of spirit and ambition. I always enjoyed getting to see him. He is a man I will never forget. Your memories will carry you for the rest of your life and knowing he is looking down upon you with a smile.

Dear Proffitt Family:
Your Dad played a major role in the Fagan family. From my first ear infection, my first contact lenses, to his last days of practice, he was there to fill my needs. Also, it was your Dad who recognized my Dad's illness that took him from us in 21 days.
The Proffitts, as family friends, will always hold a "special" place in my heart.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
