It has been more than 20 years since I knew you Jon , as we were getting our commissions together. When I first met you in sept 2000 9/11 had not even happened yet. But I sure miss you. Charles roller, Andy hoeprich, tenay, Mr Campbell- we all miss you really much . I hope you know you still touch people's lives today

For a number of reasons it has been difficult for me to visit Arlington Nat'l Cem over the last several years, primarily due to a number of poor experiences i've encountered in the service myself. But regardless, Jon Grassbaugh is always remembered - as a hero, a friend, a defender of freedom, a testament to the best this nation has to offer.
