Scott and Gail and Jo McBride were the first ones to welcome us to Alaska and invite us into genuine friendship--that was 1998. Truly a friend sticks closer than a brother and Scott was that and more. My prayers and love to the family because only God can give true comfort and peace. And I rejoice that Scott is totally free and happier than he ever dreamed possible. i wouldn't deny him that, but also don't deny the hole he leaves in so many of us.

I first met Scott and Gail in Charleston at a job site at the old naval base. Working with him was a little bit of a learning curve but after understanding his way a job should be done he became a pleasure to work with because I always knew what was expected and he never faulted. Over the next several years we worked at many jobs all around the southeast and grew to becoming good friends.
