Not sure what to say?

Joe was wonderful, listening and counseling my older son, when my husband died in 1995.

I am so heartbroken to hear of Joe's recent passing. I worked with Joe many years ago at Stamford Hospital/Optimus. He was not just a colleague, but a friend. I will always be grateful for the way Joe looked out for me and supported me during a time when I really needed it. He helped many people and he will be greatly missed. Sending love to Chuck, Joe's family, and all his loved ones.

Forever grateful for having Father Joe in my life. He shared his love of God, family and friends with the community of St Catherine´s and our lives were enriched. We loved his spirit and joy. He will live forever in our memories of a very special time in our lives and I filled with gratitude. Rest in Peace Father Joe Dorothy McDonald and Family

Joe you were a really good dude. Our friendship goes way back to when you were Father Joe at St. Catherine's, to Tracks in Old Greenwich and Gold's Gym in Stamford. You cared so much for all of our veterans and oddly when you were teaching at UCONN Stamford, you met my son who is an Iraqi war veteran and you helped guide him through the effects of being in a war. I thank you for everything that you have done and especially being a friend. Until we meet again. Rest in peace Joe Frank Fuscaldo

You are in my thoughts and prayers, Joe. RIP. You were a great influence in this life. We ove you always.

I met Joe through my brother, Chuck, who was his partner and companion. His intelligence and kindness was evident from the first moment I met him. He shared his knowledge on many subjects and was committed to his profession. There are very few people in the world like him and he will be sorely missed. I was always appreciative of the love and kindness he showed me, my brother and my mother. I pray that God grants him eternal peace and love.

I never met him but the St. Catherine´s Players is part of his legacy. When I performed in plays at St. Catherine in the 90´s Father Joe was referred to reverently as the group´s founder by those who were part of the group from the beginning.

Joe was a good and kind man with a particular skill of bringing people together. As a priest, he was a terrific preacher - always willing to make people reflect upon how the Gospel is meant to impact their daily lives. He made people think and reflect upon how the words of Jesus need to be incarnated in their lives. He was truly a man who cared for those on the margins of our society and inspired people to care for them. He will be missed. May he rest in the peace of Christ and be embraced by...
