Not sure what to say?

To the Anderson Family:
We lived across the street from Joey and his brother Buddy (Rudy Jr.) in Pine Point. Please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of Joey. He was a few years older than me, but his athletic heroics were well known. Few people might remember that Joey was a member of the first Little League All-Star Team from Maine to go to the Little League World Series, in 1951.

Chick Simonds, Deerfield, IL.

Dearest Beth: My thoughts & Prayers go with you.We have special memories from Houghton Hall at WJC. The Best of everything to you and your family for all the support you gave to Joey over the years.

Beth, Jenn and Jeff:
My deepest sympathies go out to you all, Joey was a wonderful person who brought years of memories to many.

Beth, Jeff and Jen,
Our deepest sympathy at your time of loss. Joey was a character and symbol of fishing tradition in Scarborough. We all have fond memories of him. He will have a special place in our hearts and stories of Pine Point fishing. Our sincere sympathies and love to you.

Beth and family, my heart goes out to you in this time of great sadness. We can take solace in knowing that Joe is now in a place free of pain. I regret very much in not being able to see Joey again before his passing. We were close pals at Rocky Hill school, oh so many years ago.

Joe Foss (Panama City, Panama)

I wish I would have known Joey longer than his final 3 years, however I'm grateful for the opportunity to know such a strong and special man. He must have been an amazing lobsterman who handed such knowledge and values down to Jeff. My thoughts remain with all of you.
Lovingly,

To the Anderson family,

I was sorry to receive the sad news. I grew up with Joe in our neighborhood in Westbrook until he moved to Scarborough at about the age of 10. All of us who grew up with him there remember him fondly and of the early years of sledding on Longley Road in winter and baseball in the summer. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Beth, Jeff and Jan. Our hearts go out to you at this hour of your sadness , We hope now Joe is in a better place. We are in Florida and will not be able to attend the services. God Bless.
