Seeing Joe after nearly 50 years after graduation - the night Bill, Tom and I met and dined with you both was special. For Joe was Joe - especially that SMILE the smile which never changed. The smile that made you wonder what was going on in his mind. Had he just eaten the canary or was something impish going on in his mind and what would the outcome be. His low key manner was relaxing. Barbara, I was very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a wonderful guy--easy to be with, humble and always kind and caring.
The love, mutual admiration and respect that was the hallmark of your more than 45 year relationship will hopefully sustain you as you go forward and be happy as Joe would want for you.
