Joe III. I was one of Joe's Air Force buddies and teamates on the intramural teams back in the day. I just heard the sad news today. I am sorry for your loss. Joe was a good man and friend.

While I didn't know Joe very well, as a member of the JLHS Class of 1965 I do remember his athletic endeavors. I am sad at his passing and yet know that he has left great memories to his family and his friends. God Bless you all.

To the Beler Family, I am so sorry to hear of Coach Beler's passing. I cannot begin to tell you how much he inspired me during my years at JLHS. He continued to offer his support during my years after as i followed his footsteps in coaching baseball. He was a great inspiration to me. George Dummar JLHS Class of 77

Melissa and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing! I will never forget his laughter and the good times we had at my mom and step-dad's (Pat and Joe Heard) place in West Haven. He was such a wonderful friend to both of them. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this sad time. Please take comfort in knowing so many people are thinking of you...
