Not sure what to say?

To the Bowie Family, I mourn your loss and my family's prayers are added for your comfort at this difficult time. We may never understand how God moves in our lives, the people's whose lives we touch or how we will be remembered. But we can be comforted in knowing that God is always in control.

Joe is in a better place now, and I pray comfort and peace to all those that he has left behind.

God Bless you All!

I would like to extend my sympathy to the Bowie family. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.

Joe, I don't remember where and when we first got to know each other but I'm glad we did and that you called me friend. Despite not seeing each other much, you always had a way of making me feel like we were best friends. With your great smile and laugh, I'm sure everyone you were with felt the same way. There was no b.s. to you Joe and I loved that. I already knew that you had a big...

Peppy - what a name and how good of a match was that! Your momma knew something about you early on! You were a person who lived life with such verve and passion! Peppy described you to a "T"! Although I didn't see you often, you will be sorely missed because that laugh was so contagious and that hug made you feel so good. I am so sad that you are gone but know that I am such a fan of yours because you stepped out there and did things that I would never dare to dream. You were a good guy...

Many years has passed and you continued
being a good person with a big heart. You'll truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.

I will never have another squat partner like you.We had great times around the gym and at play around Laurel.Everyone in the Laurel area knew you or knew of you.I never met a person that didn't like you. You will be missed greatly by all that came in contact with your smile or your bigger than big heart.God speed Joe.

I was shock to hear of Joe's passing from my 12 year old grandson (who was crying). I gave him a big hug and told him that Joe was a GOOD person and will truely be missed. He's in a better place.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I just so happened to look at the paper this morning and all I could see was this beautiful smile that brought back memories of a person that was loved by me and many people at Champions Billiards. Heaven is rejoicing to have Joe there.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Joe , I'll never forget your cheerful smile and laugh. We didn't see each other much after high school , but when we did we always spoke. You were the kind of man who people looked up to and respected. I'm really going to miss knowing you're not with us anymore.
