Not sure what to say?

I am Joe's little sister Mary (Mary Lou). I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing all their stories, and memories of my dear big brother Joe. I enjoyed reading through them all. They brought back sweet memories of Joe, and also gave me comfort, and warmed my heart with all of your sweet and kind words. I will miss many, many things about my brother. He was always there for me when I was growing up, he always looked after me, gave me advice, and always, always, made me laugh. And I don't...

I'm glad I found this guestbook "by accident"....

Joe has been my friend since we met in third grade. I will always have great memories of playing basketball with him in his back yard, pretending to be a couple of the star players who were upperclassmen at Prep! We also had a great time playing organized basketball at St. Therese. We were students together at Prep and "drinking buddies" on the the streets of Omaha then and in college (sorry Mrs.Bruno!). He was my best man at my...

God Bless you Nellie and family. We are so sorry for your loss. We know it's been hard for you all and that Joe is now resting in peace.
We pray for your continued strength and extend our most heartfelt sympathies to you all.
-Ken and Diane Schilling and the Schilling families

Our hearts and prayers go out to Nellie and family. May you all be comforted by his memories, I know he loved his family so very much. I worked with Joe on a project in Ohio and spent time with him (and family) when we moved to AZ a few years back. Although we didn't get to see him much due to both of us traveling for work, the times we did spend with him were memories we will always cherish. I won't ever forget his joy and happiness at your Halloween parties nor will I forget his kind,...

To Aunt Jenny, Cousins Ronnie, Angie & Mary Lou,
My heart felt sympathy to you all for the loss of one so near and dear to each of you. He will live forever in the hearts and memories of others. I will always remember him as my "older cousin" playing pool or a friendly hand at cards with the "men". I imagine he and Nanu, Uncle Sam, Uncle Carl, Uncle Aldo & Uncle Anthony are doing that now and discussing the upcoming races. :)
To Cousin Joey's wife Nellie, their children and...

Nellie & Erin, and Bruno family,

I had never known Joe had "picked 6" at the races. I can see now that I went to the races with the wrong Bruno. I once went to the dog races in Wisconsin with Ron and in the first race we won on a "pick 4" and won 300 dollars. With the rest of the races we broke even and the last race was coming up. Ron said to me: "What do you thing we should do? We can leave now with 150 dollars each in our pocket even after dinner. That is better than...

God bless you Nelly, Erin and family. We have loving memories of Joe and always will. One of our memories is when Joe was working in Kansas and came to Manhattan to see us.

We take comfort in that Joe no longer suffers and he has been called home.

Love
Frank, Lisa & Dominic

May God Bless you and give you strength. You have been, and will continue to be, in my thoughts and prayers.
With Love, Cousin Kathy (Bruno) Capobianco & Joey
