Loss to a Community.

Joe Bucci was the Director of Pupil Personnel in the early 1980s and my boss. He was an exceptional leader who helped us codify the program and make it much better. He believed that his job was to supervise and let those with expertise in their given areas do their job. His passing saddens me. He was a remarkable friend, leader and boss. Condolences to his family.

Mr. Bucci was a great Art Teacher who inspired me to study art in college. I am now a certified art teacher and art historian. He will sadly be missed in the community.

So sorry to hear this. Mr Bucci was one of my favorite teachers. He spent many hours in the art room with many of his students, myself included (W.Babylon Sr High School class of 1979). And he helped instill in me a deep appreciation for the arts. He was a wonderful man and an amazing artist whom I will always fondly remember. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
