Joe Bucci was the Director of Pupil Personnel in the early 1980s and my boss. He was an exceptional leader who helped us codify the program and make it much better. He believed that his job was to supervise and let those with expertise in their given areas do their job. His passing saddens me. He was a remarkable friend, leader and boss. Condolences to his family.

Mr. Bucci was a great Art Teacher who inspired me to study art in college. I am now a certified art teacher and art historian. He will sadly be missed in the community.

So sorry to hear this. Mr Bucci was one of my favorite teachers. He spent many hours in the art room with many of his students, myself included (W.Babylon Sr High School class of 1979). And he helped instill in me a deep appreciation for the arts. He was a wonderful man and an amazing artist whom I will always fondly remember. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Dear Christine, Tom, Jane and families,
I was so sorry to hear that your Dad had passed away. When I first learned he was sick, I wrote to him and told him that I always remembered kind words that he had for me and that they had greatly impacted me. What I forgot to tell him is that he and your mother were role models for me growing up - both college graduates and teachers, at a time that most of our family didn't go to college and some didn't even finish high school. Their own path showed me what was possible. My husband, Scott, and I are very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Patricia Martinelli (your Dad's first cousin).
