Joe, we think of you every day because of your gifts and your kindness - you did that on purpose! Thank you for so many great memories - August 23rd will always be remembered by me and many other SOG warriors where you showed both heroism and unselfishness with your actions. This is the Joe Conlon that I will always remember. Semper Fi Joe, Pat and Carol Watkins.

Dear family, Joe will always be with us in thought. He was not only a friend but we felt like he was a member of our family. His thoughtful gifts remind us of him every day. Pat will always remember him as a hero of August 23, 1968 when he put his life on the line to save many of his fellow Green Berets. We will always love you Joe - Pat and Carol Watkins.

Joe, I'll never forget you... for that would be virtually impossible!!
You were a great Team Sergeant and mentor, from which I learned a great deal, and later applied with success... when I became a Team Sergeant.
I will always cherish the fond memories of the high adventure days of the legendary ODA 325... they were Good Times!!

We certainly came full circle Joseph. You laughed at me when I called you Joseph. You said it sounded like you were getting in trouble as a kid. I'll miss our chats n your long winded conversations. You always said don't go , it has an ending . Long story short, Joseph. You're truly one of a kind. Rest my friend. Your nurse.
