Cathy, I am so sorry for your loss. The two of you were a perfect couple together. I remember Joe as a very kind and encouraging person. Everyone felt comfortable around him. He made you feel important by always being interested in what you had to say and what was going on in your life. And he had a great sense of humor. We send our love to you.

So often as an X-Pat returning to Northampton, somewhere between Pleasant St and the Court House, that engaging gravelly voice would welcome me back. That warmly engaging Joe, ever the greeter, always a friend, made all the intervening years disappear and we were back in highschool again, reminiscing about our St Mike´s antics.
