Not sure what to say?

Mr Favela was my math teacher at Sparks Jr High. He was a remarkable teacher who always cared about his students. He was definitely a father figure and will forever have a special place in my heart. I became a flagtwirler at LPHS becauae he always talked about his daughter Rosie being one and how proud that made him. Rest in peace Mr. Favela. God Bless You Sir.

I am sorry for your loss... Mr Favela was such a kind hearted man. Having been friends with his 3 son's, I know he was a great influence to all 3 of his boys and his sweet daughter.
My memories of the Favela Family is noting but wonderful.
Blessings.

MAY THE UNIVERSE TREAT YOU WELL - PEACE

We will miss you Uncle Joe! You and Aunt Angie always added "class" to every family event. And true to your profession as a teacher, you were always teaching us something, whether it was how to eat and exercise, or how to play tennis, or simply how to live life fully. Thank you for serving your country so valiantly and so nobly. We are forever indebted to you and the many men and women who sacrificed immeasurably. We love you always.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Favela's family. I was one of his students for 7th and 8th grade at Sparks Jr. High School. I have fond memories of Mr. Favela and enjoyed being in his class. I remember how he passed his time in class while we would be doing our math problems by reading the dictionary. He was an educator that continued his own education. Bravo, Mr. Favela. May you rest in peace.

Yesterday we celebrated my dad at a memorial mass and reception. We had out of town family and friends attending, sharing stories and remembering my dad.
But the surprise gift has been reading all these messages through legacy.com from former students and colleagues. To read the impact he had on others, is such a gift to our family. THANK YOU for sharing all memories, thoughts and condolences. It has help our family during this grieving period.

My condolences to the family. I had Mr. Favela for a teacher at Sparks Jr. High. Those of us that had him also respected his views and took the wisdom of the early years from him. He made an impact on those that had the pleasure of having him in their lives. RIP Mr. Favela.
