When Louise called me on Sunday with the sad news of our cousin's passing, we talked about our memories of Joey. He was a part of our childhood and we cherish those memories of our summers in Brigantine. We loved that time with our Aunt Sally, Uncle Joe, and of course, Joey. Always fun to be with. 46 years ago you were my sisters boyfriend, then as time went by you became my brother in law & friend. Then you were the father of my first Nephew & Niece. But as we grew older and wiser I realized you were not only my friend but had become my brother. I will miss our talks, laughs, the stories you told that I never knew if they were fact or fiction & my birthday buddy.
