Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers to Joe's family. Growing up I remember his trademark beard and long hair and always a smile! He will be missed.

Patti I love you , Grace & Joan Lawhorne

I was sorry to hear the sad news about Joe. He will be missed by his family and all his friends. Jerry and I chose Joe as Godfather for our son, Doug (along with Patti as Godmother). As a child growing up in Omaha, Joe was very good to Doug. He gave Doug several sets of Lincoln Logs and till this day our Grandchildren are still playing with those Lincoln Logs!! I'll never forget Joe's kind smile and warm heart...they had a way of lighting up the Post Office whenever he was around. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family.

There has never been a more dedicated and proud Dad. What a wonderful gift Joe was for all who knew him. His smile and kindness will be missed by many. He absolutely twinkled when he talked about Vivi and the kids. He loved every moment of life and shared his joy with many. There will be a big hole in our world where Joe used to stand. I'm so glad that I had a chance to know him as are many others. God has another angel in heaven today and his name is Joe. Vivi, Anna & Austin: You...
