Not sure what to say?

DEAR GIRLS, I met your Dad in the 50's, when he was attending college. He loved to dance and I can see him now in a black crew neck sweater, horn rimmed glasses and huge smile. There were two girl friends who used to go to the Doghouse, to dance ... and he was so blindly in love with the one girl, Charlotte that he couldn't see any other girl except her. He would dance with other girls, but his heart belonged to Charlotte, for sure. A couple years later, when I had my son, the...

Having just learned of Joe's death, am disappointed to not have been at the memorial service. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

What a fine gentlemen your dad was - he helped my business partner and I with a real estate radio show a number of years ago ; then I worked with him to sell his home in Graymoor before he moved to Crescent Hill. I am sorry to say I did not know he had been in the nursing home. He always seemed to me to be in a good mood and had a jolly laugh. He will surely be missed by many of us.

Girls, I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I have known him since "Pretty Jacque" days. He worked with us recently in Young Hearts and was always a delight.
What a voice they have in heaven now.

Joe was my nephew; though we were only 4 yrs apart, I recall going to St. Mary and Eliazabeth Hospital to see him when he was born. I thought he was my baby to take home but I was very sad to learn he was going home with my big sister, Evelyn. We fought alot because we spent alot of time together at my Dad's house at 4th and Central. We both shared the "Smith" stubborness and thought we were right about everything. I pray he is in heaven with my parents, my sister, Evelyn (Joe's Mom) and...

My father, Minor, loved Joe as he reminded him of his brother, Leonard. I loved seeing Joe, because he reminded me of my father. All the Fletcher boys looked alike. Condolences to our extended family.
