Joseph "Joe" Glazer

Joe's music rang true, and I loved his songs. My sympathies are with his family.

To Joe's family both blood and labor, we have lost a great friend.My sympathies to all.

I'm so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. His music rang out for working people and his voice provided the backdrop for many struggles during the 20th century. It was my pleasure to have met him early in my career. Thank you, Joe.

Dear Millie,
Joe was a great teacher of the principles of individual dignity and universal prosperity. How many times did we crowd into Olga's apartment on Lincoln's Birthday and recite the Gettysburg Address followed by Joe leading a chorus of the Battle Hymn of the Republic? He made us all feel proud to be working to make our nation and the world an even greater place to live. His spirit lives on in each and every life he touched or, as he would have sung, "I never died, said...
