Stunned to hear of his passing, that day was pretty much a fog, as I tried to accept that he was gone. Although I never met Joe in person; talking to him on the phone during my job made it feel like we'd been friends for a long time. I will miss his sense of humor most of all. He was often a bright spot in my day when it wasn't going as well as I wanted. May the peace that our Savior provides give your family comfort during this difficult time.

The Sheaf of Wheat is a symbol of the Christian faith. The seeds of faith are sown in the human personality and grow into the mature faith of the Christian man or woman. the sown seed must lose its life in order that it may develop and grow and multiply. So, symbolically, a sheaf of wheat is used by the Christians to mark the passing of a fellow Christian. We believe death is not the end, but the beginning of life eternal. The mature...
