Not sure what to say?

Barbara,
I was saddened to read of your father's recent passing. Although knowing him for just a brief time, it was apparent that he was deeply devoted to your mother and very proud of his accomplished children. May memories get you through this difficult time.

Judy and I are so saddened by Uncle Joe's passing. We were out of town and not reachable and could not be with you at the funeral. Uncle Joe was a formative influence in my life and I was fortunate to visit with him for many successive summers. He was the epitome of an upstanding, moral, and proud Jew. May his memory serve as an inspiration and blessing for all of us.

Thanks for your Military Service.
Past Commander V.F.W.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I did not know Joseph personally, but am very familiar with Mt. Sinai, and it is a beautiful cemetary.

To the Families of Joseph S. Guss:

Although I did not personally know Mr. Guss, nevertheless, I was more than aware, in my growing up years, of his achievements and dedications.

May his memories and love be a blessing and comfort to each of you, during this sad and difficult time.

A lifetime never seems to be long enough, when someone as Mr. Guss, had so much, yet to give.

God Bless his memory.

Dear Steve, Bob, Barbara and Aunt Pauline,
We are so saddened to hear of your loss. Uncle Joe was a man of great kindness and generosity, both of spirit and material things, and he contributed much to our years of growing up with Omaha summers. We wish you comfort and warm memories.
