Cant believe it has been so many years since he has passed. Seems like yesterday he and my dad were playing cards together and enjoying dinner. RIP Joe!

My father worked for 'old man Haban" until he sold the company. I remember so many of the 'characters' my dad told us about and I actually worked for him for a year after I graduated highschool. I was so happy to see the amazing field and park that he built for Racine. I will never forget the stories, the building and how grateful we were as a family that my dad had a job with friends that we all got to know. I know he passed more than 2 years ago but I thought I would let his family know...

Jeff and I were out of town, and regret that we were unable to attend the visitation. Our sympathies to you and your family! Joe Haban was a dear friend of my Dad, Alex Barry. They were in the "Lost and Found Group" together, and enjoyed many dinners, playing cards and conversation. Joe worked with my husband, Jeff Fries in the initial...
