Dr. Joseph Leonard "Joe" Hammack

Joe was a great friend in my high school/college days. He and I roomed together two years while at NC State University. After graduation, we went separate ways and lived far far from each other the rest of our lives. He was indeed as others have said, a wonderful person, rock solid in his friendship. I saw him last when his mother died and I happened to be in the Burlington NC area. That was not too long before he passed away.

Joe was a wonderful person. He always had a smile and a good word. He will be missed. He and his family are in my prayers.

Joe and his family are truly wonderful people. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to them during this time.

I just want to say that Joe was the kind of guy you would wish everyone was like. Always smiling and always had a good word.He will be missed greatly.
