Not sure what to say?

When I didn´t hear back from Joey after sending him birthday wishes a few days ago I had a sinking feeling. Joey was a forever friend, always thoughtful and always offering advice and support. We met in law school and remained in contact at least once a year. He was a special guy who had a big heart. He always spoke lovingly of his family, his wife and his daughters . He was always happy and grateful for his blessings and his wonderful life. I am so sorry he has passed away, too soon...

Wherever Joey was, his energy filled the room. I said to Margie, his presence was larger than life. As "ferocious" as he could be when it was needed, I was more accustomed to the softness and loving side of him. And Joey always made me feel like I was truly valued and loved by him. I´m sure that everyone who was a part of his life, felt the same. What a guy!!

Joe was a wonderful partner, colleague and friend. His welcome, when I joined Kelley Drye, was enthusiastic and memorable and brings a smile to this day.

Single Memorial Tree

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor to work with Joe on many transactions-he is an incredible lawyer and an even more incredible person. My thoughts and prayers are with him and your family.

Margie, I was so sorry to learn of Joe´s passing. I feel very fortunate to have met you both and enjoyed our shared time in Ogunquit the past few summers more than I can express. Hope remembering the good times with him will comfort you and that l´ll see you again in Maine.

Very sad to hear of Joe's passing. I worked across the table from Joe on many transactions, and he had the rare combination of being a great attorney and a great person. He will be missed in our industry.
