Can't believe it's been 5 years! Still miss you, pal. Still hurts not being able to go to you for your unique 'life advice'!

I became good friends with Joe Dogs for over 10 years the last part of his life in Kerrville Texas. I will never forget him. He told me people can change. I believe he did. I have to say I really miss him. We co-wrote a song about his life that was going to be used in a movie about him. He passed away before the movie ever came to fruition.Rest in peace old friend. "Fugetaboutit!"

Joe,
During this time of year I always think of how you taught me to read the racing form and all the good times we spent at the Race Barn in TX. I miss you, pal. R.I.P.
