I remember meeting Joe sometime in the mid 80s and thinking to myself this is the nicest person I've ever met in my life. He had that smile that just sucked you in. I remember his hair and his huge head and many laughs and many years of eating and having fun together as good friends. When I lived in Nashville, Joe tracked me down and came over to my house and cooked dinner for me. We laughed as we had so many times before. I have known Joe so long I can't remember when I first met him – I believe it was the mid 80's. Joe was always a true gentlemen, kind and polite. As a 12 year old, "Little Joe" was a man among his teammates on the Sunshine State Federal Credit Union Little Team within the North Brandon Little League. Little Joe led his team to a league title and was truly an "All Star". It was my pleasure, along with his dad, Joe, to be one of his Little League coaches.
