Little Joe's Dad & I coached little Joe in North Brandon Little League many years ago. My three sons J.C., Jamie and Jeff were good friends in there younger days. As they grew out of little League we as a lot of people do just go on with life and move away, and don't stay in Touch. Little Joe as I can remember as did Mac adore there Father as most boys do. Through the Grace of God may Little Joe Rest in Peace and may his blessing comfort his Mother and step Father and especially Mac and his Family I know Joe would want that. May he rest in Peace, as I know a lot of Family and friends will Dearly & Deeply miss Him.

I remember meeting Joe sometime in the mid 80s and thinking to myself this is the nicest person I've ever met in my life. He had that smile that just sucked you in. I remember his hair and his huge head and many laughs and many years of eating and having fun together as good friends. When I lived in Nashville, Joe tracked me down and came over to my house and cooked dinner for me. We laughed as we had so many times before. I had seen him a few times since then and will always miss his laugh. What a genuinely kind person he was. The Bible says to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord, and I sure hope that's true because I want to see you again one day. I love you Joe, rest in His peace.

I have known Joe so long I can't remember when I first met him – I believe it was the mid 80's. Joe was always a true gentlemen, kind and polite. Joe always helped people, and has helped me on countless occasions, when I was a young single mother; Joe was always keeping me safe with good brakes and tires often when I had not a nickel to afford them. Joe was also a close friend of my brother, Steve Vickery, perhaps his best friend; the one and only, true blue. Joe was always there for Steve – good times and not so good times – he was his pal, drinking buddy and confidant. Joe also loved to cook and entertain -- we had many, many great BBQ's and pool parties at Joe and Mollies'home in Orlando. Back in the day! Joe's kindness and friendship will be sorely missed. He has left us much too soon.
My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Joe's family and his dearest friends.
Miss you Joe!

As a 12 year old, "Little Joe" was a man among his teammates on the Sunshine State Federal Credit Union Little Team within the North Brandon Little League. Little Joe led his team to a league title and was truly an "All Star". It was my pleasure, along with his dad, Joe, to be one of his Little League coaches.
