Judi and Joe Kulbacki at his 50th Purdue SAE fraternity reunion in West Lafayette, Indiana, September 15, 2010

Please accept our condolences and sympathy on the passing of one of our PurdueSAE Brothers. I was a Purdue Freshman and in the Purdue SAE fall pledge class in September, 1959. Joe was a senior and starting halfback on the Purdue football team. He also was one of the first choices by the newly formed American League Football team, the Buffalo Bills, as well as a national SAE football All American.

As a freshman I looked up to him...as well as did all the other pledges and SAE brothers....

Judi, your have our deepest heartfelt condolences. May it bring you comfort to know that you, your family and Joseph's soul will be in our daily prayers.

Laurie and I had the privilege, no the honor of meeting Joe and Judy 9 years ago and I will cherish everyday that I got to spend with Joe. There was never a day that when you met Joe that he didn't always had a smile and was happy to see you. Laurie and I will always hold dear to our hearts the times we spent sampling Joe's amazing wines after a day of picking blueberries. There aren't many truly nice people in the world anymore and the world just lost one in Joe. I'm not going to say...
