I worked with Joe through my administrative role in the College. He was always knowledgeable, respectful, reliable, and eager to assist in working on common issues. He was a voice of reason in his role and relationships. He was held in high regard by those with whom he worked.

Dear Sue and Family,
So sad to hear of Joe’s passing .. we were friends at Prep in our senior year and took English and US History 2gether. My fondest memory will 4ever be that great big smile on his face as he escorted you into the ballroom to the tune of Rocky’s “Gonna Fly Now” on your wedding day !! I send my heartfelt prayers to all who knew him

I was heartbroken to learn this afternoon of Joe's passing. We played together as children for a short while when we lived on the same street and his parents and his sister were very good friends with my parents. My deepest condolences to his wife, Susan, children and grandchildren.

Joe and I were co-workers. He at St. Vincent's Medical Center and I at the college. I always admired Joe and had the utmost respect for him. He did not have an easy job, but he always performed his duties flawlessly. I enjoyed working with him and will miss him. RIP Mr. L.
