to the family of Joe Lee III, i am so sorry for your loss. altho we didnt see each other often, as children we cousins often stayed at his home on beacon hill and learned to sail on the Charles river with his dad. we celebrated birthdays together and i have many memories of those times. i met some of joes children at a reunion in 2002 in ct. it was nice to catch up on all the family news with Joe. i pray he is with all our family and friends who have gone before to be with our Lord.

As the wipe away the rears in my eyes, I start to remember many of the cherished childhood memories. In 1976, the Tall Ships parade, the Lee's and the Prosser's rafted the boats together and we had a great time. I smile or laugh every time I think of that 4th of July weekend. As a young boy I sailed with Joe and my dad (John Prosser - Joe's cousin) on his schooner from Boston to Provincetown and back. When we got back to Boston (very late) we stayed in Joe's apartment {I think) on Beacon Hill. It was the first experience in adapting my sea legs to the relative stability of land.
