I met Mr. Lofurno in 2002 when we moved across the street from him. He was always delightful to talk with, was was always the "quintessential Southern gentleman". I will always remember with fondness our visits in his den, living room, dining room, or on the front portch, the trips to Willet Hall together for concerts, and the Christmas treats he would make for us. I'll always have fond memories of Uncle Joe. When they came up with the name "Joe Cool," they must of had him in mind. He was always such a gentleman, dressed well, kept his cool, and genuinely cared about the well being of others. This world could use a lot more like him. Our thoughts are with you.
