Not sure what to say?

Beth, Jenny, Steve, & Burt,
I received the news about your father while I was in Arkansas.
I am sorry that I was not here to attend the funeral. I have some special memories of times spent in your home and at Indian Springs when Beth and I were childhood friends.(and a funny story of my ride from Indian Springs back to Fort Valley with Mr Joe). I also am grateful to your father for the time he provided a bus for "Daybreak" when I was touring with them. Our bus broke down in south...

The world was a better place while Mr. Joe was with us, but he earned the heavenly reward he has been given! I am looking forward to meeting his warm smile again someday!

Our prayers are with the whole family during this time of grief. Joe and the Luce Family meant a lot to the people of Buena Vista, Va. Larry & Brenda Tolley

Mary Jim - We are saddened by the death of your husband Joe. I, Elizabeth (Betty Carver) remember you from Asbury. May God give you the strength and wisdom you need in the days ahead. With sympathy, Hugh and Elizabeth Frazer

May all of your memories of Joe sustain each of you through the coming months . He certainly impacted many lives in the community, Blue Bird and the world through his many kindnesses and ready smile; he will be missed. Love to you all.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Vennard College, I extend warm greetings to the Luce family as you celebrate the life of Joe Luce. What a privilege it was to serve with him on the Vennard Board. We rejoice with you, as does all of heaven, in reflecting on this his life of profound committment to God's work around the globe.

Dear Beth, Jenny, Steve and Burt,
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your families during your time of loss. We are thinking of you as you celebrate Joe's life. It was a rare privilege to have been exposed to such a great man as a young person. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

My knowledge of the Luce family dates back to my father's (A.M. Rearick) service on the C.E.I./ Vennard board of trustees , serving with Joe's father. In recent years I had the priviledge of personally knowing Joe during his brief time on the board. God has wonderfully used his commitment and service throughout his lifetime and earth's loss is definitely heaven's gain. May God comfort you in your loss.

We send our prayers and condolences. In His Service, Rev. and Mrs. William Mayo
