Not sure what to say?

To Cheryl and the Maddox Family,

I just heard of Joe's passing from my sister Lynicia Gransberry. I remember Joe and the Maddox family from our early years at Saint's Home. From those early years, it was evident that Joe had a heart for the Lord and that he was going to dedicate his life to Him. Although we have since lost touch, it is no surprise to me that he "ran the race and finished the course". From the comments I have read here, it is obvious that he has left a great...

Happy Father's Day Daddy. I miss you so much!! Love your babygirl.

Cheryl, I'm so sorry to hear the news about Joe's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God comfort you at this difficult time.

To Cheryl and the Maddox Family,

My prayers and sincere condolences go out to you during this time of loss. To be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord.

Be not weary in well-doing. For in due season, you will reap if you don't faint.

Be encouraged!

To Cheryl and the Maddox family: I knew Joe in high school and he was a wonderful person. I know you will miss him, but take solace from the words of the Psalmist in chapter 61:2-4. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

Look to the Lord...
