I include Joe in my daily prayers for all my family members and friends who have passed on. He was always a kind and helpful friend as a teenager and he never changed. Smart, serious when he needed to be yet always had kindness and caring for all as his foundation. Our loss but heaven´s gain. Joe, give our best wishes to our old friends and save a place for us. Looking forward to seeing you once again in our eternal reward. Rest in peace Joe

Joe: Your smile, dynamic personality and overall spirit was contagious and obvious to all who saw you. I regret not knowing you better- we could have shared many "lawyer" experience. Hope you are will in that great courtroom in the sky. RIP Stanner.

I have thought of Joe often this past year. Always admired his continuous smile and contagious cheerfulness. He was just a great guy, a tribute to Molloy and to humanity in general. He is certainly missed. RIP Stanner.

He enjoyed being on the track team where he excelled in a highly competitive space. Joe appeared to always be happy and he got along with everyone. We lost touch after high school but years later we met again when our children played together on sports teams. Joe handled legal matters for me over the years and did an outstanding...

I am truly sorry for your loss. I met Joseph twice, and have to say, he was a gentle man and a hoot! He always treated me well. He was a strong man beside me for my deposition. I'll miss being able to call him. May you all be okay and stay safe.

I was a classmate of Joe´s at Archbishop Molloy and always enjoyed his big smile and great personality. He had a way of speaking with you as though you were the only person in the room and even though he was definitely one of the "cool" guys in the class he always treated everyone with respect. About 10 years after graduation I went to a closing on a home my wife and I had just purchased and Joe happened to be the closing attorney for the bank. It was a great relief having someone in the room...
