Joe was a great neighbor and I enjoyed speaking him in the alley between our houses on Greenwood and Elmwood when Joe and Cris lived in Wilmette. He was kind enought to let my son go through their basement when they were moving out to pick out his children's old toys and hockey equipment before they moved out of their house (which they still play with).
