Thank you all so much for your kind words about my brother, Joe. We will miss him everyday, but we know he is in a much better place. He did so much for so many people during his life. He truly loved being a nurse and caring for people. He was a very compassionate person and we are all so very proud of his accomplishments. We so appreciate your kindness shown during our loss of such a dear loved one, as Joe.

I remember the first time I worked with Joe, he worked in our old CCU. He was
our CCU charge nurse. He did not stay in that position for long, because he
decided to take on the roll as the hospital nursing supervisor. I loved working
with Joe, when he would ask you to work an extra shift you could never tell
him no, because in return he would always make a way to return the favor.
My friend always RIP.

Today at 1pm Southern Hills friends gathered at our Memory Garden to celebrate Joe's life. We started the ceremony with prayer and then everyone shared their favorite Joe memory. We ended with a moment of reflection. Joe was a remarkable man who left his footprint forever stamped on our lives. I will keep you all in my prayers.
