JOSEPH SCHLAGETER Joseph C. Schlageter, age 83, a retired apartment owner and manager, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, in Las Vegas. He was born June 5, 1930, in Everett, Wash., he had been a Las Vegas resident for 54 years. He is survived by his wife, of 54 years, Rita; children, Annette (Mike Wilson) Schlageter, Joseph (Lori) Schlageter, Douglas (Katsumi) Schlageter and Martin (Karen Klabin) Schlageter; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 22, at St. Thomas Old Catholic Church, 5317 Smoke Ranch Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Thomas Old Catholic Church, 5317 Smoke Ranch Road, or to Nathan Adelson Hospice. Palm Mortuary-S. Jones is handling the arrangements.
