Dear Victoria and Bob, My deepest condolences on the loss of your son Joe. I wish I knew how to reach you directly, because I want to thank you for the lovely tribute you wrote about our son Mark and his influence on your son while he was a student at UM. If anyone could get students excited about geology and earth science, it was Mark. There is definitely no finer place to study those topics than in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Mark called it his "Happy Place." I, too, find the coincidences...
