Not sure what to say?

I thank this reminder of Joe's passing. It helps bring good memories forward. The few of us still living from our class of '55 are grateful to be able to reflect upon our younger days & the ones we enjoyed. Younger ones may have that privilege some day. It's very nice for families of the deceased to know the life of their loved one also lives on in others. Jacque Bourrie, now living in Scottsdale, AZ for 57 years. Our Summer heat is the Midwest's Winter.

Thank you to Legacy for reminding us of the anniversary of Joe's passing. Remembering such a special person on this St Valentines Day seems appropriate.

Sue and Family, We are deeply saddened to learn of Joe's passing. He was a good friend and one of the nicest people a person could ever meet. We wish to extend our most sincere sympathies and will keep all of you in our prayers. We're sure that your many, great memories will help ease your pain of your gigantic loss. Joe, Donna and I loved you so much. We were always happy when you´d come in the office. You made us laugh so much. I´m sure you have a round table in Heaven xoxo

I rode the Joliet bus to JT each morning along w/those from Rockdale. It was getting full by my stop At Morgan & Willow. At our 2015 reunion Joe helped me get to visit the Rialto Theatre he worked so hard to rehab. Tho' I left Joliet many years ago, it still holds a warm place in my heart because of the many people I was able to know. You were a blessing, Joe, keep up your thoughtfulness for us not yet there. jac

Joe was a great man. He always had time to say hello, meet with his constituents. What many people don't know is how active he was behind the scenes. As a news reporter covering the courthouse, I often found Joe sitting in a courtroom following the goings on in Will County government while he was a councilman. Always a joy, always an inspiration. I now live in Austin, Texas, so I'll be unable to attend the visitation, but Joe will be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy send off to heaven.
