Not sure what to say?

From Elmore Ave to Sycamore Road, I shall always remember our fun gatherings and wonderful food "spreads". Joe was a great guy and I'm still shocked to learn the news. I could not attend the service, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember our "attempted" softball game at the Mt Vernon house, the "rue" blends Joe created for our dinners, the conversations of Jimmy Hendrix and others, and other fun times. He was THE BEST neighbor I could have ever had at Elmore and felt he always...

I know Joe as one the biggest Michican fans i have ever knew...the painted blue face with the capital M! We worked together at the Post Office for years. It was an honor and a privilege to have known him.

As I sit here and think of all the memories of years past, as a little girl going to visit my Uncle Joe and Aunt Judy during the summers, I remember all of the fun that I had. From swimming in the pond, to fishing, the horses, the time that me and my brother rode four wheelers, well actually one of us rode a four wheeler and the other on the riding lawnmower, lol, racing up and down the hill on the side of their house, or going to the neighbors house for a fourth of July celebration, or the...

Having known Cy for more than 40 years.
He was my older brother Charlie's friend.
I remember we went fishing at Alum Creek by Refugee Rd. It was in the night and we had to cross the railroad tressel. Joe was the first person who gave me the nickname of Leadbottom. We had a great time while working for Donato's. It was so nice to see him at the reunion back in July. I am sure Joe, Tony and Charlie are talking about all of us right now.
May he rest in...

Janet and Karen,

The loss of your brother is so hard in life I so understand. Joe whom I have always called my friend I might just say all my life, he will be missed. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of our trip to CA in 69! Our days at Donato's will live with me and others forever as will Joe! God Bless and may Joe rest with the Harleys.

Janet and Karen, I am happy Joe is at peace but so sad that he is gone. You both are as great as any sisters could be and you were always in on the fun too, at family gatherings or at 1297! Being the same age and my cousin he was my first and longest best friend. I have been thinking about all the great fun Joe, I and others had...hoppin' cars, trashpickin', building and riding mini-bikes, hunting at E Gates park (Crosman b-b guns of course!) , riding car hoods and refrigerator doors down...

Janet and Karen,
Joe fought a good fight. He is at rest now and no longer in pain. I have you in my prayer's. If ANYTHING, I can do, please let me know. I am so sorry, to hear of your loss.
Love & Prayer's,

Guy & Jimmy
