Not sure what to say?

Dear Rose and family,
I am sorry I was not able to attend the services for your husband, father and grandfather. I would have preferred expressing my sympathy in person, but I have remembered each of you and him in prayer. His obituary gave information of how he lived a full life. May he rest in peace.

Please accept my sympathies for the loss of your beloved Joe. My heart goes out to you and your family. I am certain you have many wonderful memories of your time together.

Blessings to all of you as you go though this hardest of times.
