Joseph Tarsia

Joe and my Dad were the best of friends for over fifty years. He was a great friend and a even better engineer. My sister, God rest her soul, would be saying the same thing. Rest in peace, Joe.

Dexter Wansel and I spent countless hours in the state-of-the-art Studio A on 12th Street, and incalculable hours at the comparable Sigma Sound Studio South at 309 S. I only knew Joe (and Mike) through the audio business. I loved hearing the old (audio) war stories from Joe when I would run into him and Mike during the AES conventions. Mike and I used to stay in touch being part of the same audio forums. I was sad to hear of his passing as well. Both are legend´s in the audio world. May they both Rest In Peace. I will smile every time I hear one of the Philly Sound songs, both did so much to shape our audio history. They will forever live on through their...
