Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim: I was shocked last night when you told me of your Dad's passing. I last talked to him in the National City bank in Grandview in December before leaving on an extended vacation in Florida. (That's why I missed the news). He told me that he was still dancing and had moved out of his old apartment (family insisted). He said that he loved his new digs-- all on one floor level. He looked terrific and ever the gentleman that he was...As you know, he taught me the ropes and I think...

The Viau Family:
I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing, too late to attend the services. Joe was a great man, always funny and upbeat. We will all miss him very much at the The Veteran & Vintage Auto Club meetings.

I am in Australia until March 1 and yesterday learned of his passing. We were in the car club together and the 6:00am Excercise Class together. He will be greatly missed by Betty and I. Walter Buchsieb 1212 Harrison Pond

I hardly knew Joe but had the pleasure of seeing him a few times at St. Christopher’s and one fish fry at Our Lady of Victory . I will never forget the first time I met Joe. It was Christmas Eve 2008. My daughter was in from NYC. We went with Melba Miller and even though we were early, we weren’t early enough to easily get a seat for the 4:30 Christmas Eve mass. Melba introduced us and Joe found us a seat with his family. I will never forget it. I remember this moment fondly, my daughter...

Jim and Family -
I was very sorry to hear about your Father's passing - Doug spoke of him to me and he sounded like he was a wonderful person to know. I will be thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

To the Viau Family,
I was saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of your Father/Grandfather Joseph. You are on my Heart and in my Prayers. I pray that God will give you comfort and replace the sadness in your heart with everlasting peace. May you feel God's loving presence as He helps and comforts you, and with gentle understanding, may He give you strength anew.
Remember that "Those who live in the hearts of others never die."

I send my deepest sympathy to Joe's family. I have know Joe for a long time as a special friend and dance pardner. Really been a pleasure to have him in my life. He always made me feel special, as he did many others.
I called and talked to him on his last birthday and I'm so glad we had the chance to share good memories. His hugs, cards and dances will never be forgotten. I'm sure Joe is in a better place looking down on his famly and so many friends which he loved so much and was...

Kevin and family,
We are so sorry to hear about your grandpa. When we saw him at the kid's birthdays, he would point to Kyle always say with a big smile and say " He looks so much like Kevin when he was a little boy" He was so proud of you and your family. Our love and prayers are with all of you
