Joe's passing leaves a huge void within our extended community. He had a big impact on the lives of the people he leaves behind. Joe will be remembered for his warm heart and strong embrace, his delightful stories and infectious laugh, his courageous soul and the many ways he has been a role model.

There are only a few people in your Life that will define what Spirit and Determination and Faith are! See you on the other side Joe!

Few people could swim the length of an Olympic sized pool underwater. Joe would swim two lengths using only one arm! He taught us a lot about courage and determination! Rest in peace my friend.

Joe always loved to run. Now he can run without any restrictions.
I will be up there running with Joe someday.

In 1975 Barbara met Joe at the Pioneer Center and became her close friend through the ensuing years. That Christmas Joe visited Barbara at our home and I became acquainted with him. Joe always seemed to have a smile on his face and was always very solicitous of Barbara's mother and me. RIP

I always marveled at Joe's courage and stamina.
He always had a story to tell and he was always interested in our family.
