Not sure what to say?

Jack was my most faithful friend and mentor, in easy times as well as hard. I spoke with him last on July 8th and he lapsed into a pensive silence that was not customary for him. He and I both knew it was the last time we would speak. I cannot begin to list all that Jack taught me. He always was upright and honorable in all his dealings and a source of reliable advice in perplexing circumstances.
I remember Jack in endless mental anecdotes - my boys and I often use his amusing mannerisms...

We missed the passing of Jack Wally but enjoyed seeing the tribute to his life in the KC Star this Sunday. It captured the essence of his life.

We will miss Jack; he was a good friend and a wonderful man. We got to know Jack while working with him at Opti-Copy. Everything he undertook was a success and his creative energy for developing new photographic systems will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends,

Daryl Farr and family

Chris, Joe and John, I am truly sorry about your Dad but he is now with my Jack reminisicing about the good old days at Western Blue. It was wonderful to see him at Jack's visitation and I thank you Chris for bringing him. Your Dad will always be an unforgettable legend in the history of camera technology.
Love, Lynn Porter

I'm in KC because of Jack. Many a night we shared a cocktail at the end of the day, with him sharing 93 years of history. he was a good partner, good freind, good man that we all will miss.

It was a great honor to know and work with Jack Wally. He was a fine, brilliant, and courageous man.
Our condolences to the family.

I always enjoyed visiting with Jack and never came away from our conversations without some bit of information or advice which I would value for the rest of my life. He and I shared a love of steam locomotives. One of my treasures is a downsized original mechanical draft drawing of a steam loco which Jack made on his cameras at OptiCopy from the original in a...
