Not sure what to say?

Joe Wegmet was a true friend and confidant. You knew you could trust him with your life. He Will be missed and I just wish I could have spent more time visiting before he passed. Perhaps we can all visit those we love more often in memory of Joe Wegmet. God Bless Him. Bill and Dottie Hebert.

Uncle Dick....thats how I know Joseph Wegmet. Praying for all his family.

sorry to hear of your loss. Joe was a good friend to my husband Gerry Kegebein who passed away in April of 2006. Joe and Gerry were active, close friends and started the Hobart Democratic club which I am now working to reorganize. June Kegebein

I will always carry the life lessons taught to me by "Dad". He always had advice and excepted me into his home as one of his own children. His creativity and loving heart will always amaze me. I will miss him and always carry his memories in my heart.

My Grandpa Joe... He was the most amazing man I've ever met. I was hoping he'd be there to meet my children. That's okay though, I feel lucky to have spent the time I did with him. I remember he told me a joke.. "What's black & white & red/read all-over" It took me 1 year to figure it out because he would not tell me the answer was a newspaper haha. I love him with all my heart. I will forever miss him. When times got hard just hearing his voice telling me to stay positive got me through....

Your legacy of strength, intelligence, patience and love will live on in me and I will always be a better person for the blessings of God chosing to have him as my father.

I am Clarice Wegmet Kirksey and I live in Frankston, Texas. My father was Howard Wegmet who was Joseph's half brother. I am so sorry for your loss. I know very little about Joseph but from the obituary and the posting on this guest book he must have been a wonderful person. I know you will miss him everyday. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deapest sympathy to the Wegmet family, so sorry to hear of your dear father passing away. I am sure he will be sorely missed. I never heard a bad word about him. He kept his family together through the loss of his dear wife Rhae and daughter young daughter Barb. He clearly loved all his children, grand children and great grandchildren (some I haven't even met) and made each one feel special. He took kids in with nowhere else to go and loved them as his own. I remember Jodie telling...

So sorry to hear about your father passing away, I never heard a bad word about him. He was always the rock of the family. He held the family together after the loss of his dear wife Rhae and young daughter Barb. So much loss and yet so much joy, he clearly loved all his children, grand children and great grandchildren.. some of them I haven't even met yet. So many times I have driven past his house to see him sitting with a child on his lap or working in his garden. He took lots of...
