I will always carry the life lessons taught to me by "Dad". He always had advice and excepted me into his home as one of his own children. His creativity and loving heart will always amaze me. I will miss him and always carry his memories in my heart.

My Grandpa Joe... He was the most amazing man I've ever met. I was hoping he'd be there to meet my children. That's okay though, I feel lucky to have spent the time I did with him. I remember he told me a joke.. "What's black & white & red/read all-over" It took me 1 year to figure it out because he would not tell me the answer was a newspaper haha. I love him with all my heart. I will forever miss him. When times got hard just hearing his voice telling me to stay positive got me through. That's what I'll miss the most.

Our deapest sympathy to the Wegmet family, so sorry to hear of your dear father passing away. I am sure he will be sorely missed. I never heard a bad word about him. He kept his family together through the loss of his dear wife Rhae and daughter young daughter Barb. He clearly loved all his children, grand children and great grandchildren (some I haven't even met) and made each one feel special. He took kids in with nowhere else to go and loved them as his own. I remember Jodie telling me of his inventions, he was always hoping for the big one! His family was the Big one! So many times I drove past his house and he would have a child in his lap or be working in his garden. It doesn't suprize me that he would leave his body to science. Maybe they will find a new cure or a new doctor will be taught to save lives, that would be a wonderful legacy. Our love to the family, Raye and Tom Jackson

So sorry to hear about your father passing away, I never heard a bad word about him. He was always the rock of the family. He held the family together after the loss of his dear wife Rhae and young daughter Barb. So much loss and yet so much joy, he clearly loved all his children, grand children and great grandchildren.. some of them I haven't even met yet. So many times I have driven past his house to see him sitting with a child on his lap or working in his garden. He took lots of kids in with nowhere else to go and loved them all as his own. I remember Jodie telling me of the inventions he would design hoping for a big one! His big one was his family, I'm sure he will be sorely missed and never forgotten. It sure doesn't suprize me that he left his body to science, hope they find a new cure or teach a new doctor how to save lives. What a wonderful legacy that would be for the world! Love to you all, <3 Raye and Tom Jackson

I will be forever grateful to my grandfather for raising me after the death of my mother and grandmother. He was a productive man in our society. I will miss him very much. I remember when he became a substitute teacher at Hobart Middle School during my years there. All my friends just loved him, although I thought he did it to keep my butt in line. I will be forever thankful to have had this man as my father. I love you Grandpa.
