Not sure what to say?

Dr.Zaientz was a wonderful man. Always a smile. He was our family dentist for many years. Enjoyed his stories. Our Deepest Sympathy, Grace Nedobity an Family

I was remembering Dr. Zaientz after a visit to my dentist today. I decided to look him up and was very sorry to hear of his passing. He was my childhood dentist in the 70's and 80's. I recently turned 50 and am proud to say that I´ve never had a single cavity or problem with my teeth. I credit Dr. Zaientz for giving me such a good early start in dental care. He was always so kind that I not only didn´t fear going to the dentist - I loved it! Especially because a good visit always ended with a...

I never met Joseph but I've been lucky enough to meet his son Luke through our shared work on the PLAY Sports Coalition. Luke gives his time freely to assist underserved youth athletes just like his father gave his time to the faith community. Luke is one of my favorite people because he uses humor everyday to bring us back to earth. I know much of Luke's traits come from his father. I am happy that Joseph still has a lasting legacy through his three children and six grandchildren, the world...

Joe Zaientz was our family dentist, but he was also a family friend. He and his wife Fredda and his kids visited our house many times. I have told many people that I never had novocaine for any dental work until I was in my 30s and had moved away from Middletown. Joe was such a gentle, sweet man, I never felt any pain with any of the fillings. He was funny too, with a ready smile! The world is a little dimmer without him.

Joe was my family's dentist back in the Seventies (and probably Eighties, although I'd left home by then). He was also a family friend. I still remember visiting the house they were building and being in awe at its beauty. The Zaientzes were wonderful people. My condolences to all who Joe left behind. He was a really sweet guy.

Joe and Fredda were Chuck's and my first friends in Middletown. Loved spending time with them, especially singing folk music with Joe's guitar guiding the way. Sending love and prayers to Fredda, Jack, Luke, and Nathan.

Joe was a good guy, citizen, family man and friend. We worked together on many Haddam Fire Department administrative issues. We also spent nice times fishing on Long Island Sound in Joe´s boat. I enjoyed the Shad museum and Joe´s entertaining shad stories. I will especially miss his upbeat attitude. John Dillingham Friend
