Not sure what to say?

Dear Zilber Family: As a member of the new UW-Milwaukee School of Public Health and a long-standing member of the Milwaukee community, I wish to express my deep appreciation for the good work that Joseph Zilber supported. We shall do our best to honor his legacy.

While Milwaukee and Wisconsin have lost a visionary leader, Joseph Zilber's founding gift to support the School of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee serves as one important legacy of his leadership. As Acting Dean of the School, I can assure the Zilber family that the faculty of the new school are working diligently to make Joseph Zilber's vision for public health--one that we all share--a reality.

Mr. Zilber's vision of an accessible, top-rate UW-Milwaukee School of Public Health is now being realized - through the School we are dedicated to keep his spirit and generosity alive for decades to come. Thank you Mr. Zilber and family.

Dear Zilber Family: I never had the good fortune to meet Mr. Zilber, but I want to express my deepest respect for everything he has done for the City of Milwaukee. Most particularly, I am grateful for his leadership in helping to establish the first School of Public Health in Wisconsin and his commitment to the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. His vision will live on for decades. Best wishes and warm condolences. Paul Florsheim, Chair, Executive Committee, UWM School of Public Health

As a member of the developing School of Public Health at UW-Milwaukee, I am very appreciative of Mr. Zilber's concern and support for disease prevention and wellness in Milwaukee and for his generous support of our new School. We are committed to building a first tier nationally recognized program that will honor his name and help enhance Milwaukee's and the State's health.

My deepest sympathies to the Zilber family and colleagues (also family). We share in your sadness at the passing of this great, visionary man.

Zilber Family,

So many people spoke highly of your father and I found out for myself what a warm person he was when I met him for the first time two years ago. He invited me in his and Marilyn's home I felt I knew him forever. What a sweet person and very loveable. He was a very special friend of AAT and I'm glad I they shared their stories with me. A man with such a big heart will be truly missed by all. God Bless You All
